GARY MCBEAN

OWNER\MASTER BUTCHER

With over 45 years of experience in the butcher trade, Gary has earned the title of Master Butcher, there is truly nothing he does not know about the art of butchering, preparing meat, cooking, curing, smoking and everything that comes under the category of meat. As the owner and proprietor, he is the heart and soul of the business.

ASHLEIGH MCBEAN

APPRENTICE BUTCHER

Daughter of Gary, Ashleigh gained the title of apprentice butcher of the year, her enthusiasm for the art of butchering is exceptional and her knowledge is a great asset. The art of butchering is not restricted to any gender and Ashleigh is a perfect example of that and in fact is changing the trade for the better.

KEN MCBEAN

CONSULTING BUTCHER

Gary’s father, with over 65 years of experience within the meat trade, Ken is seasoned in the trade and works every day at Gary’s meats. Seeing the trade change throughout the years, Ken’s knowledge and experience is enlightening to all our staff and customers. Ken has been with us for 29 years.

FLYNN MCBEAN

RETAIL MANAGER

Son of Gary, Flynn has worked at Gary’s Meats since he was 12 and has been moulded by the inner workings of the butchery. Over the years Flynn has influenced Gary’s Meats lifting it to its full potential and will continue to do so into the future, his understanding of cooking and the meat trade certainly rivals Gary’s.

MARKETING

Son of Gary, Jordan’s ability to convey information and assist manage Gary’s Meats allows Gary’s customer service and standards are met. Jordan assures display and neatness are in order and any issues are resolved.

BRITTANY MCBEAN

ASSISTANT AND SERVICE

Daughter of Gary, Brittany has worked for Gary since she was in primary school, her long lasting knowledge is embedded into her. No task is too difficult for her and whatever Gary’s Meats requires Brittany accomplishes.

For 24 years Greg has butchered at Gary’s Meats keeping the standard up to the premium quality Gary expects. Greg’s skills with a knife is exceptional and have been moulded and formed into what is represented today.

With Gary’s Meats for 24 years, Monono always has a smile on his face and happy to assist any need you have. Trained by Gary and Ken since the start of his carrier.

TOBY WEBB

BUTCHER

One of the longest standing butchers at Gary’s Meats Toby has been a part of the butchery for more than half his life 28 years and considers it a privilege to be apart of the team. Toby welcomes any specific order you may want or need and will arrange a suitable cut that will please anyone.

BELINDA HAVARD

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Belinda has spent most of her life working in butcher shops and it’s not just her many of her family members began working in butcher shops, the sharing of knowledge helps Belinda express her full understanding to customers. Being a mother of two she had certainly learned a few tricks in the kitchen as well and is eager to share them with everyone.

Family friend to Gary, Jason’s first Job began at Gary’s Meats before he left High School, he is passionate about cooking and creating with meat. Jason sometimes feels like his part of Gary’s family because the depth of experience he has had within the butchery is immeasurable.

Rachael has had many years’ experience working in bakery’s though thought she would follow her brother Jason into the butcher shop. You can bet you will always be met with a smile and an eager personality to assist.

Gary’s nephew, Travis has recently become apart of Gary’s Meats you might see him on the road with deliveries or on the counter. With years of Deli experience Travis has plenty of knowledge that will satisfy your needs.

RALF FINK

MASTER SMALLGOODS

Our resident Master smallgood maker Ralf Fink, is German Fleschmaster with over 30 years’ experience in the art of smallgoods manufacturing. Growing up in Germany and traveling Europe in search for the mastering of all smallgoods and butchering, you will find no one better or more knowledgeable in the process of curing and smoking meat.
